IT IS NOT MY WAR

Yes, there is a small bunch of subservient to US countries that sent their troops to Afghanistan and Iraq, but whose war it really is? I am ashamed as a Polish-American, there are also Polish troops in this “coalition”.

With almost a trillion dollars spent on the “crusades” and 1,366,350 Iraqis dead, 4378 Americans dead, 179 UK troops dead, and 139 so called “others” dead in Iraq, the process of “democratization” goes on while the many American tax-payers can not afford to feed their own kids.
It is OK the government says, knowing perfectly well that the US government is totally broke.

Let us look at Afghanistan, where almost every day so called “coalition” makes a booboo and kills civilians who happen to be on the roads, attending funerals or weddings or simply going to the Mosque or visiting each other.

Afghanistan war took already 999 American lives, 264 British, and of course “others” in a number of 395.
The problem is that this nonsense is called “The Enduring Freedom”, and my question is – whose freedom and how enduring.

Since endurance also means sufferance how can one put freedom and sufferance into one idea without sounding silly?

I have no statistical numbers for the civilian Afghans killed since this war started. Nobody bothered to count them, just like nobody counted dead Palestinians during An Israeli invasion on Gaza.

Our drone pilots sitting in comfortable chairs in Creech Air Force Base, Nevada, do the remote flying and killing without endangering themselves in a real combat.

This consumer driven hi-tech, using the satellite TV and video makes it possible to fly and kill and go home after eight hours shift thousands of miles away from Marja in southern Afghanistan.

If we kill civilians we simply say “sorry” and proceed with our wet affairs against those whose face we never seen nor are we interested in seeing, but most importantly who have done nothing wrong to us.
