Palestinians in Gaza are really very rich people indeed.
Just 11.5 miles from Gaza shore A British Company known as BG, for British Gas, discovered 1.5 trillion cubic feet of natural gas that the state of Isreal will defend at any price and blocade the waters, attacking anyone and anybody who might make a claim for this wealth.
This is the reason for all this piracy on the open seas, killing civilians and keeping the Gaza as a big concentration camp.
700 hundred fishing boats owned by Palestinians and 3,000 fishermen can never discover that they could be as rich as the other Arab countries.
Violating September 13, 1993 Oslo Agreement stipulating a peaceful accord between Israel and the Palestinians means nothing to Israel. 1994 GAZA-JERICHO AGREEMENT is not worth the paper it was written.
Dabur and Dvora ships armed with 30 mm. cannons make sure that the Gaza will stay poor and starve to death.
Guess what – Israel discovered GAS. Lots of it and so close and so easy to exploit. All you have to do is to keep everybody away.
The barbaric action against Freedom Flotilla bringing medicine and food for starving Palestinians should be condemned by all civilized nations. Israeli action once again brings the memories os SS storm troopers against civilians in the occupied Europe. Calling Isreal a democracy is tragic misconception repeated over and over again by the West.
Banditry action by Israeli forces on the international waters is a wake-up call to all the people of the good will to unite and condemn such actions and call it what it is – banditry.
The world is sick and tired of reckless behavior of Israel and its apartheid policy towards Palestinians on their own land, of killed and starved children, women and imprisoned freedom fighters kept in most inhuman conditions by the “chosen people”.
Hamas, like it or not, was an elected party by the Palestinians and can hardly be called terrorists. The only terrorists I see is the state of Israel.
Article 42 of the Hague Regulations stipulates, a “territory is considered occupied when it is actually placed under the authority of the hostile army,” and that the occupation extends “to the territory where such authority has been established and can be exercised.” Similarly, in the Hostage Case, the Nuremburg Tribunal held that, “the test for application of the legal regime of occupation is not whether the occupying power fails to exercise effective control over the territory, but whether it has the ability to exercise such power.” Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip, like those in the West Bank, continue to be subject to Israeli control. For example, Israel controls Gaza’s air space, territorial waters, and all border crossings.
Palestinians in Gaza require Israel’s consent to travel to and from Gaza, to take their goods to Palestinian and foreign markets, to acquire food and medicine, and to access water and electricity. Without Israel’s permission, the Palestinian Authority (PA) cannot perform such basic functions of government as providing social, health, security and utility services, developing the Palestinian economy and allocating resources.
